EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant – Reception (Full‑time, Temp)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Leyland, supporting the Reception class on a 1:1 basis. The position runs from September 2026 to December 2026 on a full‑time, fixed‑term basis, with the possibility of extension.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one support to pupils with complex needs, including ADHD and Autism.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering inclusive lessons and managing challenging behaviour.
• Implement individual education plans and monitor pupil progress.
• Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment.

Required profile

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Proven experience working with children who have complex needs or challenging behaviour.
• Excellent communication and behaviour‑management techniques.
• Enhanced DBS clearance and right to work in the UK.
