About the role
We are seeking a passionate EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner schools in Cheltenham from September 2026. This full‑time, temporary position offers the chance to support early years learners with special educational needs across a variety of primary and secondary settings.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons or provide classroom support on a day‑to‑day basis.
- Adapt quickly to different classroom environments across primary and secondary schools.
- Support pupils with special educational needs in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation, behaviour management and record‑keeping.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children.
- Flexible, reliable and proactive attitude.
- Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
- Genuine passion for education and supporting SEN pupils.
Required skills
- Experience supporting Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) learners.
- Knowledge of SEN strategies and inclusive teaching practices.
