EYFS Teacher – Full‑Time (Temporary) in Darlington

About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming school in Darlington. The role starts in September 2026 (or sooner) on a full‑time temporary basis, delivering high‑quality early years education.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver play‑based learning experiences across the EYFS curriculum.
- Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
- Assess and monitor children’s progress, supporting individual needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents and carers to promote pupil wellbeing.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the Early Years provision.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent early years qualification.
- Experience teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and early childhood development.
- Understanding of early phonics and language acquisition.
- Commitment to high standards of teaching and continuous professional development.
Required skills
- Knowledge of EYFS curriculum and statutory requirements.
- Ability to support children with a range of needs and abilities.
