EYFS Teacher - Maternity Cover in North Liverpool

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) teacher to join a well‑rated primary school in North Liverpool on a full‑time maternity cover basis. The role involves delivering the EYFS curriculum to a class of young learners and supporting the school’s strong early years provision.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess EYFS lessons in line with the EYFS Framework.
• Create an engaging, safe and nurturing learning environment for children.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to parents and staff.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity of the school’s early years programme.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
• Recent, hands‑on experience teaching in an EYFS setting.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework and its statutory requirements.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.
