EYFS Teacher – Nursery or Reception (Full‑Time)

About the role

This full‑time position is for an enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming 2‑form entry primary school in Southall. The school will appoint the successful candidate to lead either a Nursery or a Reception class, starting in September 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the EYFS framework.
• Support children’s early development in communication, phonics, literacy, numeracy and personal wellbeing.
• Create a calm, stimulating and nurturing classroom environment.
• Collaborate closely with Teaching Assistants and the wider EYFS team.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of children of varying abilities and backgrounds.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Demonstrable experience in EYFS, either in Nursery or Reception.
• Reflective, organised and nurturing approach to teaching.
• Commitment to child‑centred learning and inclusive practice.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and statutory framework.
• Ability to deliver phonics and early literacy programmes.
• Strong classroom management and routine‑setting skills.
