About the role
We are looking for a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Preston from 1 September. This full‑time position runs from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm and supports the combined Reception and Nursery classes.
Key responsibilities
- Support early years pupils within a dynamic classroom environment.
- Assist the class teacher with daily routines, activities and learning resources.
- Help maintain a safe, nurturing and engaging setting for young children.
- Collaborate closely with staff to ensure smooth operation of the combined Reception/Nursery classes.
Required profile
- Previous experience working within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is essential.
- A proactive, nurturing approach to supporting young children.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
