About the role
We are seeking a nurturing EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Warrington. The role starts in September and offers a full‑time, temporary position supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher in delivering EYFS curriculum and daily activities.
- Promote communication, social and emotional development of pupils.
- Deliver phonics, early literacy and numeracy sessions.
- Prepare engaging classroom resources and maintain a stimulating learning environment.
- Monitor and record pupil progress in collaboration with the teacher.
Required profile
- Previous experience supporting children in an EYFS setting.
- Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Caring, patient and enthusiastic attitude.
Required skills
- Experience with EYFS teaching resources and activities.
