About the role
We are partnering with a friendly, well‑resourced primary school in Hoylake, Wirral, to recruit a full‑time EYFS Teaching Assistant on a term‑time basis. You will work directly with young children, supporting their early learning milestones in a nurturing classroom environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with daily classroom routines and preparation of learning materials.
- Support child‑led play and small‑group activities to develop early literacy and numeracy.
- Deliver phonics sessions and reinforce early learning objectives.
- Maintain a safe, warm and inclusive learning space.
- Collaborate with the class teacher to monitor and record children’s progress.
Required profile
- Experience working with children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Confident, patient and supportive approach to early years education.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a teaching team.
