EYFS Teaching Assistant – Greenwich, Bexley & Bromley

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistants to support nursery settings across Greenwich, Bexley and Bromley. The role starts in September 2026 and offers flexible cover options to match your availability.

Key responsibilities

• Assist qualified teachers and room leaders in delivering the EYFS curriculum.
• Support children’s learning and development in a safe, nurturing environment.
• Prepare and maintain learning resources and classroom settings.
• Help with daily routines, including meals, playtime and record‑keeping.

Required profile

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in EYFS or related early years teaching.
• Previous experience as a teaching assistant, room leader or nursery nurse within an EYFS setting.
• Flexible, caring and committed to supporting young learners.

Required skills

• Understanding of EYFS statutory framework.
• Ability to follow safeguarding and health‑and‑safety procedures.
