EYFS Teaching Assistant (Supply) – Leeds

About the role
Join a dynamic supply team supporting Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) classrooms across Leeds. As a Teaching Assistant you will help create a safe, engaging, and play‑based learning environment for young children during their most formative years.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher with daily lesson delivery and classroom management.
- Lead small‑group intervention activities and support play‑based learning routines.
- Monitor and record children’s progress, behaviour, and wellbeing.
- Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.
Required profile
- Verified experience working inside a UK primary classroom.
- Proven ability to run small‑group interventions and manage early‑years behaviour.
- Enhanced DBS clearance and strong safeguarding awareness.
Required skills
- Knowledge of EYFS curriculum and play‑based teaching methods.
