EYFS Teaching Assistant – Wallasey

About the role

Join a supportive primary school in Wallasey as an EYFS Teaching Assistant. You will work alongside the class teacher to create a nurturing environment for early‑years learners, helping them develop essential skills during term‑time.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the teacher in delivering the EYFS curriculum, including daily routines and group activities.
• Support early phonics sessions and other literacy initiatives.
• Provide occasional one‑to‑one support for children who need extra help.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Participate in record‑keeping and basic administrative tasks as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience working with EYFS children.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow teacher direction.
• Patience, reliability, and a genuine passion for early years development.
