EYFS/KS1 Primary Teacher for Home Tuition (12 hrs/week)

About the role
Quantum Scholars is seeking a qualified EYFS or KS1 Primary Teacher to provide one‑to‑one, home‑based tuition for a primary‑aged pupil accessing Education Other Than At School (EOTAS) in Wokingham. This part‑time role offers the chance to make a lasting impact on a young learner’s educational journey.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver 12 hours of one‑to‑one tuition per week, with working days agreed in advance.
- Plan and deliver personalised learning programmes tailored to the pupil’s individual needs and abilities.
- Build a positive, trusting, and supportive relationship with the non‑verbal learner.
- Encourage engagement, confidence and independence through a calm, nurturing environment.
- Monitor progress and provide written feedback where required.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience supporting children with SEND or SEMH needs.
- Patient, nurturing and flexible approach.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Confidence to work independently in a home‑based setting.
