About the role
We are looking for a Fabric Platform Engineer to join a growing data and analytics team in Bridgwater. The role focuses on designing, building and maintaining a modern data platform on Microsoft Fabric, helping the business turn data into actionable insights at scale.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and optimise data solutions within Microsoft Fabric.
- Create and support data pipelines, integrations and Lakehouse environments.
- Monitor and ensure platform performance, security and reliability.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver data and analytics requirements.
- Troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement of the platform.
Required profile
- Proven experience with Microsoft Fabric or Azure data services.
- Strong SQL and data‑engineering capabilities.
- Good understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT and modern data architectures.
- Experience building scalable cloud‑based data solutions.
- Effective problem‑solving and stakeholder communication skills.
