About the role
We are seeking a Field Fabrication Engineer to carry out MIG welding and fabrication repairs on waste handling and loading bay equipment across the Midlands. The role is field‑based, covering sites from Birmingham to Shrewsbury, Gloucester and Nottingham.
Key responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding and fabrication repairs on balers, compactors, dock levellers and similar equipment.
- Travel to client sites across the Midlands, primarily around Birmingham, Shrewsbury, Gloucester and Nottingham.
- Maintain a 50‑hour work week with guaranteed pay and overtime at time‑and‑a‑half.
Required profile
- Strong fabrication experience, including MIG welding.
- Reasonable mechanical aptitude.
- Valid driving licence.
- Willingness to work Monday‑Friday, 50 hours per week.

What we offer
- Salary £38,000‑£42,000 per year (OTE up to £50,000 with overtime).
- Overtime paid at time‑and‑a‑half.
