About the role
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join a fast‑growing manufacturing business in Pontefract. The successful candidate will work in a dedicated workshop, producing high‑quality metal components to precise specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Read and interpret 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
- Fabricate and assemble metal components from mild steel, Zintec and galvanised sheet (0.9 mm‑30 mm).
- Perform grinding, welding and finishing operations.
- Carry out quality checks on completed products.
- Adhere to company health and safety regulations.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a metal fabricator and welder.
- Proficiency with mild steel, Zintec and galvanised sheet.
- Strong mathematical and engineering aptitude.
- Ability to lift and manoeuvre large metal items.
- Competence with standard metal‑fabrication tools.

What we offer
- Salary £34,000‑£37,000 per year.
