Facade Manager – £80m Hotel Development in Edinburgh

About the role

You will join a major £80m hotel development in central Edinburgh, taking responsibility for the complete façade package from planning through to handover. The role involves overseeing all external envelope works, ensuring technical compliance, programme delivery and exceptional quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the façade package from design to completion on a high‑profile city‑centre scheme.
• Coordinate subcontractors and manage interfaces with structural and internal packages.
• Ensure health & safety compliance and adherence to quality standards.
• Monitor programme milestones and maintain clear communication with the Project Manager, design team and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Facade Manager or Senior Site Manager with façade responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of façade systems, including curtain walling, cladding and glazing.
• Experience on large‑scale projects, preferably in hotel, commercial or mixed‑use sectors.
• Ability to manage complex interfaces between façade and structural packages.
• Excellent understanding of health & safety and quality standards.
• Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid.
