Facilities Assistant – Milton Keynes

About the role

We are seeking a Facilities Assistant to join our client’s team in Milton Keynes on a full‑time, long‑term temporary basis (minimum six months). The role offers a pro‑rated salary of £30,000 and a 37.5‑hour week, supporting the delivery of essential building services and workplace strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Facilities Managers to develop and execute workplace vision and portfolio strategy.
• Oversee delivery of essential building services and support end‑to‑end purchasing processes.
• Maintain and update facilities‑related documentation and coordinate on‑site contractor activities.
• Uphold health, safety and security standards across sites.
• Serve as the designated Facilities point of contact and build strong relationships with internal customers.

Required profile

• Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience in facilities support or related environments.
• Ability to lead through influence in a cross‑functional setting.
• Working knowledge of EHS legislation and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent business communication skills.

Required skills

• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office.
