Facilities Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Facilities Coordinator to support the Head of Corporate Services in keeping our London office safe, functional and compliant. The role is fully office‑based and involves a mix of contractor management, health‑and‑safety oversight and hands‑on maintenance tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for all facilities‑related queries and resolve issues promptly.
• Coordinate and manage external contractors for lighting, electrical, plumbing, PAT testing, HVAC, pest control, coffee and vending services.
• Oversee day‑to‑day health and safety compliance, risk assessments, method statements and audits.
• Organise internal desk moves, meeting‑room set‑ups and support reception with DSE assessments.
• Perform routine repairs, preventative maintenance, painting, carpet laying and furniture assembly.
• React to maintenance emergencies and assist with refurbishment planning.
• Arrange and participate in health‑and‑safety training such as First Aid, fire wardens, working at height and manual handling.
• Maintain the facilities storeroom, tools and supplies, and keep H&S records up to date.

Required profile

• Proactive attitude with the ability to act as the primary contact for facilities issues.
• Strong organisational skills for managing multiple contractors and projects.
• Experience supporting health‑and‑safety processes and emergency response.
• Hands‑on aptitude for performing basic repairs and maintenance tasks.
