Facilities & General Maintenance Team Member (West Village)

About the role

We are looking for a Facilities and General Maintenance Team Member to join our West Village building in Leeds. Working 40 hours a week, you will help keep the premises clean, safe and welcoming for our clients and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of presentation around the entrance, external grounds and all common areas such as showers, lifts, toilets and corridors.
• Open and lock up the building as required and carry out vacant‑suite checks.
• Perform daily building inspections and preventative‑maintenance tasks, including fire testing, water‑temperature checks and emergency‑lighting checks.
• Ensure plant, equipment and fabric operate effectively to meet customer‑service and operational standards.
• Monitor, record and complete maintenance jobs and respond to immediate health‑and‑safety concerns (training provided).

Required profile

• A “can‑do” attitude with enthusiasm, flexibility and adaptability.
• Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
• Willing to learn on the job; previous maintenance experience is beneficial but not essential.
