Facilities Manager – 3 Sites, Poole

About the role

Our client in Poole is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee three sites, working closely with Operations Managers, the Head of ESG and the QSHE Manager to ensure safe, efficient building services.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and adhere to a preventive maintenance (PPM) schedule across all sites.
• Coordinate timely maintenance of plant equipment and manage the Safety Culture database, including contractor registers.
• Source and manage contractors and suppliers for repairs, renovations, waste disposal and security.
• Lead new projects and changes to existing facilities, raising purchase orders and processing invoices.
• Develop and monitor facilities budgets, forecast future needs and identify cost‑saving measures.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, security and ISO 14001:2015 waste‑control standards.
• Support ESG initiatives in partnership with the Head of ESG.

Required profile

• Proven experience in facilities management with hands‑on trade skills such as plumbing, electronics and carpentry.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and a commercial mindset for budgeting and cost optimisation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork, able to organise workload across multiple sites.
• Comfortable acting as the point of contact for PPM and contractor/supplier management.
