Facilities Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading Build‑to‑Rent property owner‑operator, is expanding its facilities management division in London. As a Facilities Manager you will oversee a diverse portfolio of newly‑built residential developments, balancing time on‑site, in the regional office and remote work to ensure smooth operation of amenities such as gyms, co‑working spaces, cafés and event areas.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections and follow up on corrective actions.
• Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance, maintaining PPM schedules and CAFM data.
• Monitor contractor performance, ensuring quality and compliance with health & safety standards.
• Manage statutory, health and safety, and operational compliance across the portfolio.
• Review maintenance spend, repair costs and service performance, preparing reports for reactive and emergency repairs.
• Support the delivery of key health‑and‑safety systems and sustainability initiatives.

Required profile

• Proactive, enthusiastic individual who thrives on variety and autonomy.
• IOSH qualification is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on a property or portfolio.
• Experience in hard services and on‑site health & safety management.
• Background in residential or broader real‑estate management is advantageous but not mandatory.
