Facilities Manager – Manufacturing Site

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to take ownership of a manufacturing site’s buildings, services and infrastructure in Andover. You will ensure a safe, compliant and efficient environment while supporting operational teams and driving improvement projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operation and maintenance of the site’s buildings, plant and facilities.
• Coordinate contractors, preventative maintenance programmes and statutory inspections to minimise downtime.
• Support health & safety by overseeing fire safety systems, emergency procedures and risk assessments.
• Oversee facilities services such as cleaning, security, waste management, parking and space planning.
• Lead refurbishment and improvement projects, controlling budgets, timelines and contractor delivery.

Required profile

• Proven facilities management experience in a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation and building services.
• Experience managing external contractors, service providers and facilities budgets.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
• NEBOSH or IOSH qualification and/or facilities management certifications are advantageous.
