Facilities Operations Manager

About the role

The Facilities Operations Manager will lead facilities, property and tenant operations across multiple sites in the North West, including Halton, Runcorn, Widnes and Halewood. Reporting to senior management, you will act as the primary liaison for tenants, ensure smooth service delivery and support the organisation’s commitment to community well‑being.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for tenants, handling queries and fostering positive relationships.
• Oversee building services, coordinate tenant meetings, variation requests and approvals for new work.
• Manage room bookings, optimise space utilisation and promote available spaces to prospective tenants.
• Support health, safety and fire risk assessments, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Maintain accurate site documentation, contact lists and security records.
• Encourage community engagement and health campaigns within sites.

Required profile

• Proactive, organised professional with strong relationship‑building abilities.
• Minimum two years’ experience in facilities or property management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in financial management and budget monitoring.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise under pressure and deliver excellent service.
• Health & Safety training (IOSH/NEBOSH) and IWFM qualification are desirable.
