Factory Operative

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Factory Operative to join our manufacturing site in Yeovil. The position offers stable day‑shift hours and a clear pathway from temporary to permanent employment within a busy production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and pack products accurately to company standards.
• Carry out basic assembly tasks and perform quality checks on components.
• Operate machinery, including injection moulding equipment.
• Move materials and prepare items securely for production runs.
• Use handheld scanners and complete basic site documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workstation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a factory or warehouse setting.
• Comfortable working around production machinery and plastics processes.
• Reliable, punctual with a strong team‑work ethic.
• Attention to detail and a steady approach to tasks.
• Ready to start immediately in a steady production environment.
