Factory Process Manager

About the role

The Factory Process Manager will lead process‑improvement initiatives within a well‑established manufacturing site in Tetbury. Working closely with senior management and the factory leadership team, you will develop, document and sustain standard operating procedures that boost efficiency, quality and productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Support improvement projects from planning through implementation while minimising production disruption.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S and other continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Champion high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation.
• Conduct regular audits and spot checks to ensure accurate paperwork and compliance.
• Analyse operational issues, develop SOPs and drive sustainable improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or factory environment.
• Strong understanding of production processes and operational best practices.
• Hands‑on experience implementing Lean, 5S or continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Proactive problem‑solver with a continuous‑improvement mindset.

What we offer

• Competitive salary £40,000‑£45,000 per year plus a bonus scheme.
• Full‑time permanent contract with Monday‑Thursday 8:00‑17:00, Friday 8:00‑16:00.
