About the role
The Families First Reform Programme Manager will lead the delivery of the Families First reforms for a Devon local authority. Working on a hybrid basis, you will redesign children’s services, drive transformation and represent the council at strategic forums.
Key responsibilities
- Design, plan and deliver the Families First Reform programme across the council.
- Support the redesign of key children’s services in line with reform objectives.
- Lead complex stakeholder engagement, including elected members and partner organisations.
- Represent the council on partnership boards, strategic forums and external meetings.
Required profile
- Significant experience leading large‑scale programmes for Children’s Services.
- Proven track record of managing service transformation and improvement initiatives.
- Ability to engage senior stakeholders, including elected members.
- Local authority experience is essential.
Required skills
- Prince2 methodology (highly desired).
What we offer
- Day rate of £700, inside IR35.
- Hybrid working – three days on site in Devon.
- Contract role, Monday‑Friday 09:00‑17:00.
