Family Link Worker – Virtual Family Space (Welsh speaking)

About the role
Barnado's Cymru Virtual Family Space is expanding its bilingual service across Wales. The Family Link Worker will support parents and carers through online advice, workshops and parenting programmes, helping them build digital confidence and connect with the right support.
Key responsibilities
- Provide virtual guidance and information to families in Wales.
- Facilitate online workshops and parenting programmes.
- Assist parents in accessing relevant services and resources.
- Promote digital confidence and safe online practices.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and outcomes.
Required profile
- Passionate about supporting families and children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a hybrid team.
- Commitment to the values and mission of Barnado's.
Required skills
- Fluent Welsh (essential) and strong English proficiency.
What we offer
- Fixed‑term contract until 31 March 2027.
- Hybrid working – office, hub or home.
- Part‑time role (20 hours per week) with pro‑rated salary.
