Family Solicitor (1-3 PQE) – Private Practice

About the role

G2 Legal Limited is seeking a Private Family Solicitor with 1‑3 years post‑qualification experience to join its regional team in Berkhamsted. The role offers a hybrid working pattern and the chance to manage a varied, privately funded family law caseload while developing your technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Manage private family matters including divorce, financial remedy, cohabitation disputes and child arrangements.
• Draft court documents, consent orders, settlement agreements and pre‑/post‑nuptial agreements.
• Represent clients at hearings where appropriate and provide empathetic, commercially‑focused advice.
• Maintain strong client relationships and collaborate with senior colleagues on complex, high‑value cases.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with 1‑3 years PQE in private family law.
• Proven experience handling privately funded family matters.
• Excellent drafting, communication and client‑care abilities.
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
