Family Solicitor (2+ PQE) – Newcastle

About the role

We are seeking a Family Solicitor with at least two years post‑qualification experience to join a well‑established, highly regarded law firm in Newcastle‑upon‑Tyne. The role offers a varied privately funded caseload and clear pathways for long‑term career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a full spectrum of family law matters from instruction through to conclusion.
• Handle divorce and separation, financial remedy proceedings, private children matters and cohabitation disputes.
• Provide clear, practical and commercially focused advice to clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering exceptional client care.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years PQE with experience managing your own family law caseload.
• Strong technical knowledge of family law and excellent communication skills.
• Organised, proactive and able to develop effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Experience of privately funded family law work is advantageous.
