About the role

G2 Legal Limited is seeking a Child Panel Accredited Solicitor to join its growing Family Law team in Leeds. This full‑time position offers the chance to work on high‑profile public law children matters and other complex family cases while contributing to a firm committed to legal aid and public service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of public law children matters and complex family law cases.
• Provide expert advice and representation to vulnerable clients under legal aid.
• Collaborate within a small, specialist team with national reach.
• Support the growth and development of the Family department.
• Engage with clients compassionately and maintain professional relationships.

Required profile

• Child Panel Accredited Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years post‑qualification experience.
• Established following, active caseload, or strong referral network.
• Well‑regarded within the family law community for professionalism and integrity.
• Motivated by making a positive impact rather than solely financial reward.

Required skills

• Child Panel Accreditation.
• Proven experience in legal aid family law work.
