Family Solicitor – Hybrid

About the role

We are expanding our Family Law team and are looking for newly‑qualified (NQ) and associate solicitors to join a fast‑growing, client‑focused practice. The role is hybrid, with one day a week in the office and the remainder remote, and offers a supportive environment where you can develop your expertise without needing to bring a client book.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of a mixed caseload of privately funded family matters, negotiating to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
• Record all case information accurately using our case‑management system.
• Meet individual and team chargeable time and profit‑cost targets.
• Draft, review and audit legal documents and correspondence.
• For senior or lead solicitors: provide line‑management, mentor junior team members, delegate work, act as a subject‑matter expert and contribute to departmental strategy, marketing and promotion.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor or CILEX‑qualified with experience in privately funded family law matters.
• Proven ability to meet chargeable and billing targets.
• Strong IT competence, including use of a case‑management system.
• Excellent relationship‑building, collaborative and customer‑service skills.
• High attention to detail, strong organisational abilities and resilience.
