Family Solicitor – Senior/Principal Associate (Leeds)

About the role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented Family Senior Associate or Principal Associate to join a highly regarded, growing Leeds‑based team. The role focuses on advising an exclusively privately funded client base, with particular emphasis on complex financial matters and children cases involving high‑net‑worth individuals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality legal advice to private clients on complex family law matters, including financial and children issues.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across private wealth, corporate, employment and disputes teams to deliver joined‑up solutions.
• Strengthen the firm’s presence in Leeds and the wider Yorkshire market.
• Contribute to business development and practice growth, particularly for senior associates.

Required profile

• 5+ years post‑qualification experience in family law, gained in a leading city, regional or specialist boutique firm.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm, ambition and a proactive mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong drafting ability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team on complex matters.
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
