Family Support Worker – Oxfordshire – £15‑18 per hour (Temporary)

About the role

Prospero Health & Social Care is seeking experienced Children’s Support Workers to join a flexible, temporary team in Oxfordshire. In this role you will help vulnerable children and young people build resilience and develop positive coping strategies while working closely with families, schools, social workers and healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct support to children and young people in a variety of settings.
• Collaborate with families, schools, social workers and health professionals to coordinate care.
• Promote resilience and positive coping mechanisms.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to safeguarding procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months experience in a child‑focused support role.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles.
• Ability to work flexibly across different settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Cannot sponsor Skilled Worker or other visas.
