About the role

We are looking for a Family Support Worker to provide temporary, part‑time assistance to vulnerable children and families in Hertfordshire. You will work alongside schools, social workers and health professionals to promote resilience and positive outcomes.

Key responsibilities

Support children and young people in a variety of settings.
Collaborate with families, schools, social workers and healthcare professionals.
Promote resilience and positive coping strategies.
Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures.

Required profile

Minimum 6 months experience working with children or young people in a support role.
Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles.
Ability to work flexibly across different settings.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
