Family Support Worker – Winchester – £15‑18 per hour (Temporary)

About the role
Prospero Health & Social Care is seeking a Family Support Worker to join its team in Winchester. This part‑time, temporary position supports vulnerable children and young people, helping them build resilience and positive coping strategies while working closely with families, schools and other professionals.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct support to children and families in a variety of settings.
- Collaborate with social workers, teachers and healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans.
- Monitor progress and adjust support strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to safeguarding procedures.
Required profile
- Minimum six months experience in a child‑focused support role.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles.
- Ability to work flexibly across different environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
