Fast Track File Handler – EL/PL

About the role

This position offers a varied legal workload, handling a mixed caseload of high‑profile corporate and insurance clients. You will manage litigated Employment Law (EL) and Professional Liability (PL) matters under the supervision of senior colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a daily litigated caseload of EL and PL cases, ensuring compliance with SRA standards.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, providing clear advice on liability and quantum.
• Develop case strategies, identify investigative avenues, and gather necessary evidence.
• Oversee disclosure, proof witnesses, and draft detailed witness statements.
• Coordinate expert evidence and collaborate with the wider team for seamless service delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience handling litigated EL and PL cases valued up to £25,000.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team mindset.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload.
• Willingness to adapt and deliver the best outcomes for clients.

Required skills

• Strong IT proficiency and experience using a case‑management system.
