Female Complex Care Support Worker – 14yo with Cerebral Palsy

About the role

We are seeking a female Complex Care Support Worker to provide person‑centred care for a 14‑year‑old male client with cerebral palsy, PEG feeding needs and a history of seizures. The role is based in the PO20 area and involves both night and day shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver complex care support tailored to the client’s routines, ensuring dignity, comfort and safety.
• Assist with PEG feeding, following proper procedures and hygiene standards.
• Support mobility, personal care and daily living activities in line with the care plan.
• Monitor for seizure signs and follow emergency protocols when required.
• Communicate effectively with a non‑verbal client using cues and established routines.
• Maintain accurate documentation and handovers of care delivered.
• Promote independence, engagement and wellbeing while adhering to safeguarding policies.
• Collaborate with the client’s family, carers and multidisciplinary team.

Required profile

• Female applicants only, as required by the client’s support arrangements.
• Experience or confidence in complex care, especially PEG feeding and cerebral palsy support.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and follow detailed care plans.
• Strong observation skills to detect changes in condition.
• Reliable timekeeping and commitment to the scheduled night and day shifts.
• Right to work in the UK and willingness to undergo safeguarding checks and training.
