Female Practice Leader

About the role

Thera East is seeking a Female Practice Leader to join its Harwich team on a full‑time, permanent basis. You will lead a group of Support Workers, champion person‑centred care, and ensure safe, high‑quality support for people with learning disabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Shape the direction of your field through expertise and passion for growing people and practices.
• Mentor and empower Support Workers to deliver the best possible care.
• Support individuals’ emotional, psychological and social wellbeing in line with Positive Behaviour Support guidance.
• Assist with personal care, finances, meal preparation and community access.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to company policies.
• Promote choice, control, inclusion and independence for service users.

Required profile

• Experience supporting people with learning disabilities.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, and care regulations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organisational and decision‑making abilities.
• Confidence using digital systems and a manual driving licence.
• Flexible approach to shift work.
