Female Relief Support Worker – Social Care

About the role

Thera Trust is looking for a Female Relief Support Worker to join its team in Rishton, Lancashire on a flexible, part‑time basis. You will provide person‑centred support to adults with learning disabilities, helping them achieve personal goals and live independently.

Key responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living tasks, personal care and hygiene.
• Support skill development, leisure activities, employment pursuits and community outings.
• Help plan and manage household routines and budgets.
• Provide emotional and mental‑health support, adapting approaches to each person’s needs.
• Work both in the client’s home and in community settings, often independently.

Required profile

• Willingness to work alone and support people with mental‑health needs.
• Compassionate, caring and confident attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self‑motivated with a high level of enthusiasm.
• Commitment to Thera Trust’s values and vision.

Required skills

• Full UK driving licence (essential).
