Female Senior Support Worker

About the role

We are looking for a warm, compassionate and proactive Female Senior Extra Care Support Worker to provide person‑centred care for over‑55 residents in a brand‑new independent living scheme in Hattersley, Tameside. You will join a supportive team delivering high‑quality care while encouraging independence and social engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care and domestic support to service users.
• Assist individuals in accessing work, education and social opportunities.
• Support residents with dementia, memory loss and other age‑related needs.
• Collaborate with families, friends and the management team to deliver an empowering service.
• Work a roster that includes evenings, weekends and occasional sleep‑ins.

Required profile

• Female (occupational requirement under Equality Act 2010).
• Previous experience caring for vulnerable adults, especially older people and those with dementia.
• Flexible, energetic, reliable and a can‑do attitude.
• Located in the UK and eligible to work.
