Female Support Worker – Day Center (Clacton-on-Sea)

About the role

Join Voyage Care as a Female Support Worker in our Day Centre in Clacton‑on‑Sea. You will help individuals develop independence and enjoy a richer daily life while working within a supportive, dynamic team.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and reinforce new life‑skills to service users.
• Provide personal care and support daily routines.
• Encourage participation in community activities, outings, and social events.
• Facilitate leisure activities such as video games, films, cinema visits, and trips to local pubs.
• Support individuals in achieving personal goals, from cooking meals to planning holidays.

Required profile

• Female, caring and hands‑on with a genuine passion for improving quality of life.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Resilient, flexible and composed under pressure.
• Experience following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
• Background working with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental‑health needs, traumatic histories or challenging behaviours.
