Female Support Worker

About the role

This permanent, full‑time position supports a 20‑year‑old female with cerebral palsy living independently in her own home in Garstang. The role combines personal care, clinical tasks and community engagement to help the client maintain an active, fulfilling lifestyle.

Key responsibilities

• Provide PEG feeding, nutrition support and medication administration.
• Manage seizures, respiratory care and continence needs.
• Assist with personal care, mobility, and physical therapy programmes.
• Drive the client’s adapted vehicle to community activities, appointments and outings.
• Maintain a safe home environment and care equipment.
• Complete daily records, medication logs, timesheets and incident reports.
• Liaise with family members and health professionals as required.

Required profile

• Female, due to personal‑care requirements.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Previous experience as a Support Worker or Healthcare Assistant.
• Experience with PEG feeding and complex physical disability care preferred.
• Non‑smoker, willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
