Female Support Worker – Part‑time (evenings & weekends)

About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Female Support Worker to assist a 14‑year‑old girl with cerebral palsy, epilepsy and non‑verbal communication in Peacehaven, East Sussex. The role focuses on enabling the young person to live as independently as possible while enjoying daily activities.
Key responsibilities
- Provide personal care including toileting, dressing and hygiene support.
- Assist with mobility and wheelchair handling.
- Support participation in leisure activities such as TV, baking, swimming, arts and crafts.
- Monitor health, manage epilepsy triggers and ensure medication safety.
- Transport the individual to appointments or activities using own vehicle.
Required profile
- Female applicant with a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Previous experience in disability or residential care (essential).
- Ability to work with a non‑verbal teenager with complex needs.
- Reliability for evening, night and weekend shifts.
Required skills
- Personal care and hygiene support.
- Wheelchair handling and safe mobility assistance.
- Basic knowledge of cerebral palsy and epilepsy care.
- First‑aid awareness.

- £16.50 per hour PAYE, paid weekly.
