Female Support Worker – Residential Care

About the role

Join Cygnet’s dedicated team at Kensington Gardens in Darlington as a Female Support Worker. You will work 42 hours per week across a variety of shifts, providing compassionate, person‑centred care to adults with complex mental health needs, learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviours.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver enhanced, flexible care tailored to each service user’s individual needs.
• Provide physical and emotional support, encouraging independence and wellbeing.
• Assist with medical, medication and welfare requirements and document observations.
• Safeguard service users by maintaining a safe, clean and supportive environment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, reporting concerns and updates as required.

• Starting pay £13.15 per hour, rising to £13.45 after 3 months and £13.70 after 18 months.
