Female Support Worker – Social Care

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate Female Support Worker to join The Camden Society in Didcot. The role is permanent with full‑time or part‑time options and offers a competitive rate of £13.20 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personalised support to adults with a learning disability, helping them achieve personal goals.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as skill development, personal care, household management and community activities.
• Support individuals in their own homes and in community settings, including leisure, employment and travel arrangements.
• Adapt support plans to each person’s unique needs, using a person‑centred approach.

Required profile

• Compassionate, caring and resilient with a genuine desire to help.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self‑motivated, confident and professional in written and verbal communication.
• Eager to learn, solve problems creatively and embrace the organisation’s values.
