Female Support Worker – Tunbridge Wells

About the role

Join Avenues Group as a Female Support Worker in Tunbridge Wells, helping adults with learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy and physical disabilities live independently. You will work flexible shifts between 7:30 am and 10:00 pm, Monday to Sunday, providing personal care and encouraging community participation.

Key responsibilities

• Support adults with a range of physical, mental health and behavioural needs in a supported‑living setting.
• Assist with daily tasks such as shopping, cooking, budgeting and personal hygiene.
• Promote social interaction by accompanying service users to parks, cafés, swimming pools, bowling alleys and other community activities.
• Maintain dignity and respect while delivering personal care.
• Document activities and observations in line with organisational policies.

Required profile

• Female – genuine occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to drive service users to activities.
• Passion for supporting adults to achieve personal goals.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Experience with autism or challenging behaviours is desirable but not essential.

Required skills

• Full UK driving licence.
