Female Support Worker Waking Nights

About the role

Join Avenues Group as a Female Support Worker on waking night shifts in West Malling. You will provide compassionate care to seven adults with learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy or physical disabilities, helping them live independently while working the 10 pm‑7 am schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Support adults with learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy or physical disabilities to live independently.
• Assist with daily tasks such as shopping, cooking, budgeting and medication management.
• Encourage social interaction with friends, family and the wider community.
• Deliver personal care respectfully, maintaining dignity and privacy.
• Create a positive, enjoyable atmosphere and make each day meaningful.

Required profile

• Female applicant (occupational requirement under Equality Act 2010).
• Full UK manual driving licence – essential for service needs.
• Availability for night shifts (10 pm‑7 am) – 18 hours per week.
• Experience or genuine interest in supporting adults with learning disabilities or autism.
