Female Waking Night Support Worker

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and flexible Female Waking Night Support Worker to join our Heathside service in St. Helens. This part‑time role involves supporting residents with complex needs during night hours, helping them enjoy a high quality of life and engage with the local community.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support, including assistance with cooking, cleaning and other domestic tasks.
• Encourage residents to participate in community activities and develop independence.
• Support development of daily living skills such as money management and social interaction.
• Collaborate with families and professionals to deliver consistent, person‑centred care.
• Adapt to the varying needs of service users with flexibility and empathy.

Required profile

• Warm, positive attitude with a genuine passion for person‑centred care.
• Willingness to work night shifts and respond to the needs of residents.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• No prior care experience required; training will be provided.

• £12.85 per hour.
• 20 hours per week, part‑time schedule.
