About the role

Stockport Fencing is seeking a dedicated Fence Installer to join its on‑site team in Stockport. This full‑time position involves delivering high‑quality fencing solutions for both residential and commercial clients while adhering to safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install a variety of fence types, including garden boundaries and industrial perimeters.
• Prepare and set fence posts, mix and pour concrete where required.
• Read and follow installation plans, ensuring accurate measurements and alignment.
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload, and organise materials on the work site.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment.
• Interact professionally with clients and team members to meet project deadlines.

Required profile

• Strong physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Reliable transport to the Stockport site; vehicle provided.
• Previous experience in fencing, landscaping, or general construction is preferred but not essential.
• Basic understanding of health and safety practices and willingness to follow company policies.
