Field Application Engineer – Italy & Iberia

About the role

Nethermind is seeking a Field Application Engineer to support demos, pilot deployments, and technical troubleshooting across Italy and the Iberian Peninsula. This customer‑facing position ensures that hardware‑software solutions run smoothly, gathers feedback, and bridges the gap between customers and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and support technical demos for customers, operators, partners, and investors.
• Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot demo systems and pilot deployments.
• Travel between Bergamo, Zaragoza, and customer sites as required.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to diagnose and resolve field issues.
• Guide customers through technical requirements and deployment steps.
• Collect structured feedback and produce installation guides, troubleshooting FAQs, and technical notes.
• Support hardware testing, software validation, and pilot rollouts.

Required profile

• Experience in field application or service engineering, especially with vending machines, payment terminals, kiosks, or retail automation.
• Strong troubleshooting skills performed in front of customers.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely.
• Fluent English; Italian and/or Spanish strongly preferred.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
